Every winter, Katie's school auditions to perform at Disneyland's Community Arts Showcase. They once again made the cut this year and performed a variet of pieces at Plaza Gardens.
I let Maggie play "hookie" since it was the Friday before we were going on vacation, so she and I met Grandma and Tom (who took a late lunch) at Plaza Inn to enjoy the performance. Her orchestra is very good. They performed a couple of Disney medleys and after they went backstage and changed into their "normal" clothes, they were able to play in the Park and go on rides the rest of the day.
