Nothin' new. . .

Hey, I just thought I'd put up a post since it's been a while since I've had anything new up. Life's moving along at a brisk pace, it's just not interesting to photograph. Katie started High School two weeks ago, and Maggie moved up into Junior High. I forget how hard it is getting back into the swing of things, getting up early, homework, afterschool activities, social schedules and stuff.

Maggie's taking Hip Hop classes this year. She wanted to continue with drill and cheer, but it was going to be a four day a week commitment. That's just too much. So she and her friend Hailey are taking a class on Wednesdays. They're having a great time.

Katie is first chair on second violin in orchestra. She's doing well with the adjustment to high school. She's still with her same group of friends that she had last year. They all are a good group and support each other.

Tom's working on a version of High School Musical for the Disney/MGM Studios. They're just in the planning stages right now, but come next year he'll be going back and forth to Florida a lot.

I'm continuting to freelance for Car Crazy Central, Disney, and a couple of other companies doing television work. It's all good. It's just enough to keep the cash flow going, but not so much that it takes away from home. I love that.

Well, no big plans for this weekend. Wait, I take that back. Tom's having an "ALL DVD CONCERT WEEKEND!!" Yes, I got to wake up this morning to U2 singing "Beautiful Day." He's doing "research" for the new show he's working on. I think he just wants to blast the stereo. I'm sure it's actually a bit of both. We've watched most of Live 8, Some of a Beyonce concert and almost all of a Destiny's Child concert. Ok, maybe watching Beyonce is a bonus for him too.

Next weekend we're going back up to the cousins. Karen's having a scrapbooking sale and I think the guys will probably watch some sort of sporting event. . . big surprise.

That's about it for now. I hope everyone has a great week!
