We spent Friday at Disneyland with Dave, Karen, Justin and Joshua. Justin hadn't been since he was two and it was Joshua's first visit.
We went to California Adventure first so that Justin could go on some of the little rides in "a bug's land." He wasn't afraid of the rides, he was afraid of the noises that all the bugs made! Too cute.
The big kids headed over to Tower of Terror. It was Katie's first time riding the California version. She thought it was pretty cool. Karen, Justin, Joshua and I went to see the Muppets. Justin was very concerned that the theater "blew up" at the end of the show, so we waited for the walls to re-set so he could see it was all just pretend. He felt much better after that.
After DCA we headed over to Disneyland. It was unbelievably crowded. I just don't remember that many people normally being at the Park on a Friday afternoon. It was crazy! We headed to Big Thunder Ranch to see Santa and his reindeer (and the two presidential pardoned turkeys). Promotions was doing some holiday radio remotes so I had nice chat with my good friend Mike C.
We then went over to New Orleans to ride Pirates of the Carribbean and have dinner. Then it was back to Main Street to watch the Christmas parade and fireworks.
It was great spending the day together and even with the crowds we still had a great time.
