Our model was similar to a real volcano because just like a real volcano, lava was flowing from th e top of the volcano. This is known as an eruption! Also, it is the same because they both have a magma chamber, sort of. Also, they both have a vent where the magma coms out at the top.
Our volcano is different because real volcanos would have craters, hot debris, and deep undergound forces that make the magma/lava come up. Out volcano doesn't have any of those things. Instead we have vinegar and baking soda on the inside and clay on the outside.
