40 Years

So tonight I celebrated my 40th Birthday. I had a slumber party with a bunch of my closest girlfriends. Unfortunately a few of them couldn't be here; one had a charity dinner, one had to help out her family, one just had a baby on Wednesday, one is pregnant with triplets, one has a bum knee, one lives in Vermont and another one lives in Alabama. I wish they could have been here, but life happens. Bummer!

40 so far is going great. No problems at all. I haven't had to go to work, the kids haven't argued once and my husband has been keeping the house sparkling clean. It's all just a party. . .mainly because that's all that's happened so far, and sure, I'm only 23 hours into it, but it's all good.

I wish I would have taken some pictures, but I'm a dufus and forgot. As I'm typing this, everyone else is downstairs sleeping on air matresses or couches. I'm in my room next to my comfy bed that I'm about to go to sleep in.

I'm so blessed to have such wonderful women who are a part of my friends and family. I also have some great guys in my life too, but really, I didn't think they'd want to come over and do their nails, so they weren't invited. ;-)

I'll try to take some photos in the morning to post. You'll see the "aftermath" of the good time we had.
