I tell you, I am a VERY lucky girl. I'm in Florida working at WDW for their Year of A Million Dreams Event and they've put me up in a very nice hotel. I SO appreciate of the the beautiful room. Usually I don't have it this good.
It's been great working here getting to know the WDW Broadcast staff. Nicole, who does what I do here is terrific. We have very similar personalities and work ethics, so she's been a joy to work with. So far, it's busy, but not too crazy, but that will change next week. We're doing remotes from Epcot on next Wednesday and the Magic Kingdom on next Thursday and Friday.
It's also been fun getting to see a lot of the folks I got to work with at Hong Kong Disneyland. It's been like old home week. . .kind of a family reunion getting to see Michael, Trish and the rest of the gang.
A few more folks from California arrive tomorrow and Friday and Sunday. It'll be a barrel of fun in the Broadcast Ops office trailer as it gets filled to the rafters as we get closer to the event! I'll update the blog with new photos as the event unfolds.
PS- Tom, Katie and Maggie, I miss you guys and REALLY wish you could be here too!!!!
