Ok. Technically, Independence Day wasn't on the weekend, but what do we care? We'll use any excuse to get together and hang out with the cousins.
We went up to Jon and Amanda's on Saturday to watch the NASCAR race (my driver, #24, Jeff Gordon crashed. Bummer!) and to let the kids play on the new water slide that Jon and Amanda just bought. The kids loved it.
On Sunday we went to Dave and Karen's to BBQ, swim in the pool and just hang out. The weather was great. It was a little warm, but its a dry heat, so when you're floating in the pool, its wonderful.
We headed home on Monday night because the Grabers were coming in from Alabama on the 4th. I'll have pictures from that soon. I don't know why, but I haven't taken any yet. I guess we're having too much fun to stop and shoot photos.
