On Tuesday I called my good friend Calvin and he helped me sign the Grabers into Disneyland. (Thanks again, Calvin!!)
We headed to Disneyland first and headed over to Pirates of the Caribbean (big surprise, huh?) It was broken down, so we went to Indiana Jones. When we were done, Pirates was opened again so we all rode and got to check out the re-do with Jack Sparrow. It's pretty good! I like it when they update the rides with what's current and new. Then Ann and I got a table at the New Orleans Cafe while the kids rode Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain and Autopia. When the kids were done, we all sat down to lunch. We introduced Katie and Andrew to probably one of the worst foods in the world that you could ever eat, The Monte Christo Sandwich. Andrew said it was the best lunch he had ever had in his whole life.
After lunch, we headed over to Matterhorn and It's a Small World. The kids rode Matterhorn twice. Then it was off to California Adventure. There we rode Monster's Inc. (Very cute) and the kids went on Tower of Terror. California Adventure was great. There were very little crowds and lot's of shade so it was pretty cool seeing that it probably was over 100 degrees that day.
Later we headed over to Grizzly River Run, where the kids got soaked, but we did meet up with our friend, Jonathon, who spent the rest of our visit with us.
Afterwards, we went to Paradise Pier and rode some of the rides over there and watched the Electrical Parade. Then we went over to the Grand Californian Hotel and enjoyed the HUGE lobby fireplace. It was a great way to end our day.
