The Teen Years. . .Year Two

Katie turned 14 on Monday. I asked her what she wanted to do, and she said she wanted to have a sleepover with her friends. Since we already have a full house with the Graber's being in town, we decided it would be best to wait a week or two, but in the mean time, I made her a "themed" cake. Of course, I made a pirate cake, more specifically, a "Dead Man's Chest." It came out pretty good. It's amazing what you can do with licorice, Whoppers, Junior Mints and LOTS of chocolate frosting.
