Its All in the Details

Construction continues. Now we're down to the detail work. . . staircase, lighting fixtures, crown moulding, carpet and paint. It's taking longer to finish all this stuff than it did to build the rooms! David, our carpenter, is doing a great job. He's very detail oriented (an attribute you really want in someone who's putting the finishing touches on your home). We were debating paint colors this weekend and have spent some money on "test" samples. And I ordered a chair for the office. . .that wouldn't fit through the door. . .duh! So I had to cancel it and order a new one that can be assembled in the room. Sheesh!
