Ok, I admit it. I'm bored.

Since the construction guys are REALLY LOUD (there's a surprise, right?) it's difficult to do anything at home while they're working so I've been camping out at different Starbucks around South Orange County. I've hit 3 different one's so far. The cool thing is they have internet access and no one minds if you stick around for a couple of hours as long as you get a refill every once and a while. It's kind of nice with less distractions, I'm getting a lot of work done for a project for church.

So back to the construction stuff. . .

I've been taking photos of all the stuff we're putting in. Here are carpet sample. Yes, I know. It's super-exciting. Carpet samples. I'm sure the guys are just thrilled. You know how men love looking at fabric swatches, paint chips and carpet samples!

This will go in the office/retreat.

Here's what's for the theater.

The color will be a bit different on both, but that's the pattern for each.

Here's the new couch for the living room. The color will be camel instead of this mint color. There's also a chair that's a tone on tone pattern. They should be ready in . . . get this. . . 8 to 10 weeks.

Here are the leaning bookcase/shelves for the dining room.

We still need to pick out coffee tables and a diningroon table. Becky and Eric, if you're reading this, you can come and pick up the old tables ANYTIME!!! Also, if anyone wants or knows someone that would like our old sofa and chair, let me know! (Look at the "before" posts on 8-1 to see what they look like).

I feel a bit materialistic looking back at all of this, but I do have to say that we are VERY blessed to be able to have the means to do this to our house, and I am greatly appreciative for what we have!

Anyway, that's probably enough posts for now. I've gone a bit overboard!!
