Packing

Ok. . .

So we've packed up our really good stuff and put it in our cars. They have had a voluntary evactuation of 3 streets up the hill off of Paloma. The fire burned right down to the houses, but the strict fire codes for building and brush clearing have kept the homes safe. So at this point we're watching the news and the smoke to see what our best move will be. All the people in our neighborhood are also waiting. We've also talked to our friends who live up on the Rue De Fortuna loop. They spoke to the firefighters and they said they'll be setting backfires later today.

Right now, the fire is burning the the north east of us. We're staying put for now, but are ready to go at a moments notice.
