It looks like the fire is blowing the other direction but we're watching the hills and the news to monitor what's going on. We have a couple of friends that had the fire run right down to their backyard. It was a bit scary, but their house is fine. Their neighbors lost a palm tree and another lost their patio cover, but for 30 foot flames, that's not too bad.
ANYway, that's about it for now. Hopefully the winds will remain calm for the rest of the evening.
